About Chitipay
Chitipay started with a familiar problem: after every group trip, nobody remembers who fronted what and who owes whom. We built a splitting tool so that reconciliation takes seconds instead of an argument.
What Chitipay solves
Log group expenses, compute each member's balance, and generate a minimal transfer list — who pays whom, exactly once. The web calculator is free and requires no account.
How the math is verified
The entire settlement engine runs through a public unit-test suite in the landing source, with canonical cases for multiple up-fronters, partial participation, and rounding.
