What's new in Chitipay
Synced with the app's v1 release and the new brand
- New identity: the stacked-card mark, navy and yellow, matching the app.
- Removed the AI, receipt-scanning, voice, and AI-reminder section — v1 does not ship those features.
- Removed the paid-tier pricing card: v1 is free with no in-app purchases.
- Added the group fund, fund holder, receipt photos, activity history, and archived groups.
- Reworded the QR code: it is a VietQR that bank apps can scan, with the amount and note prefilled.
- Invites go out as a link or code (the app has no scan-a-QR-to-join flow).
Content synced with the app's current state
- Described receiving-account sharing as it works in the app (replacing the scannable transfer-QR wording).
- AI features moved to “Coming soon” status.
- Added last-updated dates to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
Example sessions, About/Contact pages, and SEO improvements
- Open the split calculator pre-filled with sample data from the travel, roommates, dining, and collector pages.
- Added About and Contact pages.
- SEO and performance improvements, internal links, a splitting glossary, and USD display in English.
Vietnamese and English support
- Translated the full site into English, with Vietnamese remaining the default locale.
Blog launch
- Launched the group expense-splitting blog with FAQs, related posts, and OG images.
